Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Pest Control Rajshahi. These Terms govern your booking and use of our cleaning, pest-control, and polishing services across Rajshahi Division, Bangladesh. By booking with us — online, by phone, or in person — you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

"Pest Control Rajshahi", "we", "us", or "our" refers to the business operating at 25, Beside Rajdhani Tower, Ranibajar, Rajshahi. "You" or "customer" refers to the person or entity booking a service. "Service" means any cleaning, pest-control, polishing, or specialty job we agree to perform at your premises.

2. Booking & Acceptance

A booking becomes a contract when we confirm your slot — by SMS, WhatsApp, phone call, or email. Until that confirmation is sent, your request is a pending enquiry and not a binding agreement.

You confirm that the information you provide (name, address, phone, the nature of the issue, and access details) is accurate, and that you are authorised to permit our team onto the premises. Service requests on behalf of a property you do not own require the owner's consent.

3. Pricing, Payment & VAT

All prices are quoted in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT, ৳) and may exclude VAT/SD unless explicitly stated. Where statutory VAT applies to a service, the applicable rate as set by the National Board of Revenue (NBR) is added to the invoice.

Payment is due at the time of service unless agreed otherwise in writing. We accept cash, bKash, Nagad, Rocket, and direct bank transfer to our registered business account. A money receipt is issued for every payment.

Quotations are valid for 14 days from issue. Prices may change for jobs requiring inspection, additional chemicals, or scope larger than originally described.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking up to 12 hours before the appointment at no charge. Cancellations within 12 hours of the scheduled visit may incur a callout fee equal to 20% of the quoted amount to cover technician dispatch.

If our team arrives at your premises and is unable to access the property or carry out the agreed work due to circumstances within your control (e.g. locked premises, occupants not ready, food/pets not secured as agreed), a callout fee applies.

We may reschedule visits when severe weather, hartal, civil disruption, or other force-majeure events make travel unsafe — at no charge to you.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Before our team arrives, please: cover and store exposed food and utensils, move pets to a safe area (we recommend keeping them out of treated rooms for 2-4 hours), unplug fish tanks and bird cages, and remove children from rooms scheduled for chemical treatment.

Provide clear access to the rooms and surfaces to be serviced. For tank cleaning, ensure the water supply can be shut off briefly. For polishing services, clear the area of breakable items.

Disclose pre-existing damage, structural defects, sensitive materials (antique wood, lacquered finishes, ornamental marble), and any household members with chemical allergies before treatment begins.

6. Our Service Standards & Guarantee

Our technicians arrive in uniform, carry company identification, and use only chemicals approved for use in Bangladesh under Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) and Ministry of Health guidelines. Eco-conscious and child-safe formulations are used wherever the service allows.

For pest-control treatments, we offer a free re-treatment guarantee within 30 days (60 days for termite, 90 days for cockroach gel treatments) if the targeted pest reappears in the treated area under normal sanitation. The guarantee does not cover new infestations originating from outside the treated property, or infestations caused by structural conditions we disclosed but you elected not to address.

For cleaning and polishing services, any visible defect must be reported within 24 hours of service completion. We will return and rectify within 3 working days at no cost.

7. Limitation of Liability

Our maximum liability for any single claim arising from our service — including damage to property, possessions, or finishes — is limited to the invoiced amount for that specific service, except where greater liability is imposed by Bangladesh law (including the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009).

We are not liable for: pre-existing damage; damage caused by your failure to follow pre-service preparation guidance; loss of business, profits, or indirect/consequential losses; failure of any structural element of the property; or any adverse health reaction in a person we were not informed about in advance.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Bangladesh law.

8. Insurance & Damage Claims

Our technicians are covered by public liability insurance for accidental damage caused during the provision of services. Damage claims must be reported within 48 hours of the service visit, supported by photographs and a written description.

We reserve the right to inspect any reported damage before settling a claim, and to repair rather than replace where reasonable.

9. Health, Safety & Children

For chemical pest-control applications, occupants — especially children, pregnant women, and individuals with respiratory conditions — must keep clear of treated areas for the time advised by our technician (typically 2 to 6 hours).

You must follow all written and verbal post-treatment instructions, including ventilation, surface re-wiping where required, and food handling guidance. Ignoring these instructions voids the service guarantee.

10. Intellectual Property

All photographs, designs, logos, treatment plans, and printed material produced by Pest Control Rajshahi remain our intellectual property. You may share before/after photographs of your own premises freely; with your consent, we may also use them in our portfolio and marketing.

11. Data Protection & Privacy

We collect and process personal information (name, phone, email, address, service history) only to deliver the service you booked, to keep accounting and tax records as required by Bangladesh law, and to send service reminders or follow-up calls. We do not sell your data.

12. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform when caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, monsoon flooding, fire, government action, hartal, blockade, civil unrest, pandemic-related restrictions, telecommunications failure, or supply-chain disruption affecting approved chemicals.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, including but not limited to the Contract Act 1872, the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009, and the Sale of Goods Act 1930 where applicable.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Rajshahi, Bangladesh.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available at this page. Material changes that affect your existing bookings will be notified by SMS or email at least 14 days before they take effect.
